Fourteen more killed by Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon Lebanese media reported that eight members of the country’s security forces were killed in an Israeli air strike on the southern city of Nabatieh on Friday. The National News Agency said a further six people were killed in an Israeli strike on a car wash in the town of Jbaa in southern Lebanon. The victims included the owner of the car wash, his two sons and three others, reported to be civilians. Israel has increased its attacks on Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement signed on Wednesday to end the US-Israeli war on Iran. More than 300 people were killed and over 1,100 injured in nationwide air strikes that day. It has discussed unilaterally redrawing its border with Lebanon to create a "deep defensive line" in the south. Far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said the boundary should be positioned along the Litani River.
