Gaza genocide death toll rises to 72,628 The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Friday said that the number of Palestinians killed in Israel’s genocide on Gaza has risen to 72,628, with 172,520 wounded since 7 October 2023. Officials said hospitals received nine bodies over the past 24 hours, including newly killed victims and others recovered from rubble, along with 39 wounded people. They added that since the ceasefire on 11 October, at least 846 people have been killed and 2,418 wounded. Rescue teams have also recovered 769 bodies from beneath destroyed buildings.
