According to the group, some of the heaviest fighting took place in Haddatha and the al-Balou’ area, where Hezbollah claimed to have struck several Merkava tanks and detonated an explosive device against a military vehicle, forcing Israeli troops to halt their advance and withdraw under Israeli air cover. The group also reported attacks on Israeli positions near Beaufort Castle and in Biyyada, saying rocket salvoes and guided missiles targeted command headquarters and armoured units.
