Iran outlines conditions to end war, demands complete US withdrawal from region
An Iranian official outlined a set of conditions for ending the war, including guarantees against future conflict, the closure of US military bases in the region and full reparations from the United States and Israel, according to a report by Al-Mayadeen.
Press TV reported that the official also called for an end to regional conflicts involving Iran-aligned groups, a new legal framework governing the Strait of Hormuz and action against what was described as “hostile media.” Iranian official on the Islamic Republic's conditions for ending the imposed war:
Guarantees that the war will not recur.
Closure of all US military bases in West Asia.
Full reparations to Iran by the US and Israel.
An end by the US and Israel to all regional wars, including against all Iran-aligned groups.
Implementation of a new legal system over the Strait of Hormuz.
Handing over elements of ‘hostile media’ to Iran.
