He also appeared to respond to remarks by US President Donald Trump, saying: “…scheming and naive euphemisms such as ‘a light slap’ would not erase the profound disgrace born of narcissism, greed, reckless miscalculation, and lawless irresponsibility”. The comment referenced Trump’s earlier description of US strikes as “a love tap”. Baghaei further dismissed US messaging on the conflict. He went on to slam “disjointed, delusional tweets” and said they “no longer hold any sway over reality”.
