The headquarters warned that ships failing to comply with Iran's regulations risk jeopardising their own safety while passing through the strait. It also issued a warning to foreign military forces, saying any attempt to interfere with Iran's management of the waterway would be met with a response. “We warn that any action taken by military vessels to interfere with the management of the Strait of Hormuz will make them a target for us.”
