Iran's foreign minister: Reports of missiles fired at Turkey 'completely baseless' Iranian foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has dismissed reports that Tehran fired missiles at Turkey as "completely baseless". Iran's foreign ministry said that Araghchi had offered to undertake a joint investigation into the claims on a call to his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan. He further warnedagainst "false flag operations" aimed at undermining regional ties. Turkey has reported a number of missiles fired by Iran towards its air space, which have been downed by Nato air defence systems. The latest reported incident was on Monday.
