In a statement, the IRGC said it is maintaining strict oversight of the strait and warned that any hostile action would be met with “crushing blows”. The force also said several vessels attempted to enter the Persian Gulf without authorisation by switching off their navigation systems. It said naval units issued repeated radio warnings before intercepting two ships and forcing others to change course.
