UN peacekeeper killed in southern Lebanon

UN peacekeeper killed in southern Lebanon United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (Unifil), says one of its peacekeepers was killed after a projectile struck a position in southern Lebanon late on Sunday. "A peacekeeper was tragically killed last night when a projectile exploded in a Unifil position near Adchit Al Qusayr," the force said in a statement. "Another was critically injured. No one should ever lose their life serving the cause of peace," it added.
